Marble counter The white carrera marble used for the 96-inch counter was chosen at a stone yard. It's what you would find in a European butcher shop and lends the kitchen a classic feel. Large pieces of the marble were cut to fit the backsplash and mounted with a heavy duty tile adhesive.
